Le 5 f\u00e9vrier, une \u00e9quipe de chercheurs de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 d\u2019Anvers et de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Catholique du Congo a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9, dans le bureau de la coop\u00e9ration belge Enabel-Kinshasa, les r\u00e9sultats interm\u00e9diaires de la recherche men\u00e9e sur le travail d\u00e9cent dans le secteur de la construction \u00e0 Kinshasa. Pour rappel, cette recherche a commenc\u00e9 en fin 2024 par une recherche collective ayant permis d\u2019affiner les questions et les hypoth\u00e8ses de recherche pour la seconde phase de recherche mixte (qualitative et quantitative), au terme de laquelle les r\u00e9sultats pr\u00e9liminaires ont \u00e9t\u00e9 partag\u00e9s \u00e0 Enabel, aux repr\u00e9sentants des ONG, aux syndicats et aux autorit\u00e9s de r\u00e9gulation (Inspection du travail, commune, etc.). La pr\u00e9sentation de ces r\u00e9sultats s\u2019est essentiellement appuy\u00e9e sur le Decent Work Assessment Tool<\/a>, d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 par HIVA en coop\u00e9ration avec Enabel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le constat suscitant le plus de d\u00e9bats \u00e9tait que le probl\u00e8me du manque de travail d\u00e9cent n\u2019est pas concentr\u00e9 dans le \u201csecteur informel\u201d mais il est r\u00e9pandu dans toute l\u2019\u00e9conomie. Partout dans le secteur de la construction, les conditions de travail dans les chantiers de construction sont pratiquement les m\u00eames : Les b\u00e2timents construites par les entreprises qui se pr\u00e9sentent comme \u2018formelles\u2019 et comme respectant toutes les normes du travail d\u00e9cent, sont de fait ciment\u00e9 par des gens op\u00e9rant dans les m\u00eames circonstances de travail que les constructions fa\u00e7onn\u00e9es par des PME informelles : l\u2019informalit\u00e9 est partout ! Il en d\u00e9coule des recommandations pouvant permettre \u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9tat congolais et aux bailleurs de mieux orienter leurs politiques et strat\u00e9gies pour le renforcement de la protection sociale dans le secteur de la construction en RD Congo.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
