Du 28 au 30 octobre 2024, une phase de recherche collective a eu lieu \u00e0 Kinshasa, impliquant 16 chercheurs de l'Universit\u00e9 Catholique du Congo et de l'Universit\u00e9 d'Anvers. Cette recherche vise \u00e0 explorer les conditions de travail dans le secteur de la construction en RDC, un secteur \u00e0 forte intensit\u00e9 de main d'\u0153uvre, mais o\u00f9 la quasi-totalit\u00e9 des travailleurs manuels sont engag\u00e9s comme journaliers, sans contrat officiel. Face \u00e0 cette r\u00e9alit\u00e9, la question centrale demeure : comment progresser vers une am\u00e9lioration durable des conditions de travail dans ce secteur ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La phase de recherche collective a d\u00e9bouch\u00e9 sur un certain nombre d'hypoth\u00e8ses qui seront explor\u00e9es dans les mois \u00e0 venir par l'\u00e9quipe de recherche (prof. Albert Malukisa et Davina Mbika \u00e0 l'UCC et Anuarite Bashizi et Tom De Herdt \u00e0 l'IOB). Cette recherche devrait fournir un cadre pour repenser la mani\u00e8re dont les organisations internationales peuvent promouvoir des emplois plus \u00e9quitables et plus s\u00e9curis\u00e9s dans ce secteur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
